The assessment includes:
A conference with the employer or it’s representative to gain an understanding of the client’s pay practices and business operations. (approximately 30-45 minutes)
- A determination if the FLSA is applicable (enterprise or individual basis)
- A determination of possible exemptions that may apply to the employer or its employees,
- A review of a sample payroll and timekeeping records, (last two workweeks)
- A review of overtime and regular rate of pay calculations
- A list of the Posters required
- A determination in compliance with Child Labor regulations, (if Applicable)
- A determination if FMLA is applicable or not
- A Report outlining findings and recommendations.
